" ... and then I will respond to anyone except Eerie Descent ..."

So it will be business as usual with Johnson, then?

GROAN!!

Re: THE OFFICIAL 2015 RUGBY WORLD CUP THREAD
Come on TM, at least give me 15 minutes to be true to my word!?

Dagg isn't our best fullback, Ben Smith is better, and they've got Slade and Barrett who can also cover fullback, so there's no place for him.

Personally, I'd have tried to fit Charles Piutau into the squad, at the expense of a halfback (we have 3), as he can cover wing, centre and fullback.

I've already said I'm not going to bother with that fat shit either, unless he posts directly to me.

I've got to apply for for residents parking. Lived here for years loads of rugby. Lot of knicket wetting by the posh boys in the rfu.

Anyway apart from that, looking forward to it.

Hmmm, what are the odds?

I agree Ben Smith is for me the best in the world at 15, and I love Brown for us. just surprised he missed out, I bet he was gutted

Re: THE OFFICIAL 2015 RUGBY WORLD CUP THREAD
England need to win the first two games. A loss in either, and I think it's curtains.

There is ZERO chance that he won't try to draw you in to one of your tedious arguments.

How about I start a thread called "Argue with Jonah"?

The three of you can duke it out EXCLUSIVELY on there, and leave the rest of us in peace.

Look Ronald, I've said I'm not going to even converse with that pussy ED, or the fat, obsessive stalker Johnson, and I'm going to stick to it.

Now, I've always got on with you, but I can just as easily lump you in with those two fuckwits if you want.

Ronald_antly 1:20 Tue Sep 8
Re: THE OFFICIAL 2015 RUGBY WORLD CUP THREAD
I'm just trying to keep the peace.

And to be fair, you said a few minutes ago that you would respond to Johnson if he addressed you.

Please don't.

Nuff said.

At least this tournament appears not to go on as long as the cricket one.

Someone wake me up for the final.

You seem to be handling this very well, Lomas.

It doesn't seem like any of it is eating you up at all.

Can't help but think whoever is in charge of promoting this in England has had a mare, hasn't been half the fuss about it that you may expect, id expect 'it' to be everywhere by now but it really isn't the case.

The fact it is on ITV doesn't help,

They are woeful.

Re: THE OFFICIAL 2015 RUGBY WORLD CUP THREAD
I'm sure it will pick up in the week or so before but rugby doesn't have the widespread appeal to the nation of football or an Ashes series.

I imagine it's only in NZ that there will be a frenzy.
The AFL finals start in Australia this Friday so any other sporting interests will be on hold til early October.
West Coast & Fremantle in the top 2 spots so both have two home finals guaranteed so NOTHING else will be happening in Perth.

Getting the international break out of the way before ramping it up, I imagine.

Was an excellent photographic PULLOUT in the standard yesterday. One with giant cunt John EALES receiving the World Cup from the QUEEN on the day that he and all his Republican chums got their arses handed to them in the vote about ditching the royals.

Sven Roeder 9:52 Tue Sep 8
Re: THE OFFICIAL 2015 RUGBY WORLD CUP THREAD
So Australia got the World Cup and the chance to have a democratic vote (albeit with a biased question) on who was their TITULAR Head of state on the same day?

Assume the English fans rosy cheeks were glowing with rage as they pissed their red corduroy trousers

Given that the match was between Australia and the FROGS in WALES, I don't imagine too many bothered watching, Sven son?

Re: THE OFFICIAL 2015 RUGBY WORLD CUP THREAD
I forgot that was before all the WC2003ers discovered the game.
I can recall being in the away end at Highbury (Mike Small Day) when it was announced on the tannoy that England had lost the World Cup final at Twickenham and there was the same reaction as if they had read out Rochdale 1 Huddersfield 2.
